Travel Journal

Stanley St & Allen St, Woolloongabba QLD
This design is presented from a traveler’s perspective, allowing people to experience the traces of city life through photos that document the scenes encountered during their journey – like a selfie and the picture of a meal they had. Animal elements can make people feel more relaxed and interested. Some everyday and relatable elements can boost the audience’s resonance. Like that laid-back koala who loves watching ball games, or the bin chicken eating chips with traffic cones on his head. I chose the concept of a ‘travel journal’ because I believe it best captures the rich and diverse experiences and the diverse range of people who visit the Woolloongabba area. I think my design concept shows a little-known but highly diverse side of Brisbane, a place that is both vibrant and steeped in vintage charm.
