The Good Fortune Cat

Webster Rd & Rode Rd, Chermside West QLD
The Cat is a well-known Japanese tradition to welcome good fortune. Since the traffic signal box is near the Prince Charles Hospital (a specialist heart hospital) we thought it would be cool to combine the symbolic good fortune of the Cat (dressed in Nurse’s costume) with the universal Heart symbol, as well as the Heart BPM symbol.

You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
