The East Brisbane bend in the river is home to one of the most magical parks, Mowbray Park. By day it offers a rare expanse of lush, cool, green space. By night it transforms into the most enchanting wonderland filled with fairy lights.
We really wanted our work to reflect the magic and beauty of the world around us, particularly our local space of Mowbray Park. We thought an Impressionist style of painting would best capture the dreamlike quality of Mowbray Park at twilight and hopefully connect with locals of all ages.
