Life, uh, finds a way

Grey St & Peel St, South Brisbane QLD
Stylised depictions of the Queensland Museum dinosaurs being relocated from the Old Museum to the new cultural centre in 1986. Growing up in the ‘90s my grandparents would take my brothers and me to the museum very frequently. We saw all the same exhibits repeatedly and loved it every time. My favourites were the dinosaurs in the garden on Grey Street. To me, the dinosaurs were the cultural precinct and these archival photos of the dinosaurs going on parade is an event worth remembering.
