Leeches’ Day Out

My work was inspired by the name of the suburb Indooroopilly, which means ‘Gully of Leeches’. I wanted to connect my art piece with the business it is located near (a craft wine making supplier), but more importantly to evoke amusement and intrigue in the community.

You must be a resident of Brisbane ie. living within the Brisbane City Council area.
You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
