When looking at the surrounding area of Windsor, the Northey Street City Farm and markets stood out as a place where the local community comes together. This artwork aims to capture the brightness of the local produce available at the Northey St markets. The bright colours are drawn straight from the food available at the markets. I made the main shapes large blocks of colour that can be seen from the cars driving past while there are added smaller details that are for the pedestrians. I want passers-by to have a sense of happiness from this artwork, for it to brighten their day and add to the community feel of the area.
