Our City

Brother and sister team Diana and John Hoyes are Brisbane born and bred, and when designing their Artforce artwork, wanted to pay tribute to the Brisbane River and our beautiful city that runs along its twists and turns.

‘Brisby Land’ features the wavy curves of Maiwar and the everyday life that happens alongside it. The artwork picks up on the hive activity that unfolds around our river, from bike riders, to dog walkers and pram pushers to those locals simply enjoying a coffee and lovely views. Thanks for shining a light on this incredible natural landmark Hoyes family!
