Entwined

Merthyr Road & Hickey Street, New Farm QLD
This piece draws on the Brisbane River and New Farm Park for inspiration to create a flowing vine that wraps around the box, symbolising the suburb and how we’re all part of the same ecosystem. The bees and ladybirds represent the people of New Farm, all going about their day and bringing interest and movement to this always busy suburb.

You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
