Brisbane-based freelance illustrator and graphic designer Aidan Ryan collaborated with the Rotary Club of Balmoralto celebrate its 50th anniversary with a knockout artwork on a local traffic signal box.
‘Rotary Brekkie’ is fun, chaotic and bold, and showcases the many ways the Rotary club lifts up local communities by supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment. The artwork’s overarching breakfast theme references the Rotary Club of Balmoral’s breakfast program with Murarrie State School. The Rotary Clubs of Balmoral and Carindale also organise an annual kite-flying event, so it is lovely to see kites making an appearance on the artwork too.
