Welcome to Moo – Roo – Car

Ipswich Rd & Colebrook St & Gow St, Moorooka QLD
The artwork is a pictogram of Moorooka. It incorporates auslan symbols for ‘hello’ and ‘welcome’, referencing Deaf Connect which is located across the road. There is a bush-stone curlew referencing the nearby park who is near a bucket and holding a sponge because the box is out the front of a car wash. The automatic brushes of the car wash decorate the sides.

You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
