The Murri School

Sunrise/Sunset on Country

Mortimer Rd & Watson Rd, Acacia Ridge QLD
The Murri School is a big family coming from many different mobs. As we created our design we spoke to elders, Uncle Cheg, Aunty Andrea and worked alongside Dylan Bolger. As we learn, work, play on Jagera country, we imagined how the rolling landscape would have looked like before it was houses and suburbs. We included the wedgetail eagle as a totem of many families at the school, flying above in the timeless sky, connecting us to past, present and stories emerging.
