291 Milton Rd, Milton QLD
Anyone living in the western suburbs understands the pain of being stuck in bumper to bumper peak hour traffic on Milton Rd (or Coronation Drive for that matter). This artwork is a light-hearted, playful commiseration with those stuck in that predicament. Those walking will be grateful for their freedom and those stuck in cars can laugh at the absurdity of it all and remember that we’re all in it together. I hope commuters will see themselves in the artwork, whether they are sitting in a bus, driving their electric car, kids in the back or someone moving house with a trailer attached. There is joy and magic in the every day even if we don’t always see it.
