On Type (of the hill)

‘On Type’ is designed as a typographic exploration of the suburb of Spring Hill. As one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Brisbane, Spring Hill is characterised by its gridded plan, its peaks and valleys and its colourful and eclectic nature. The type forms represent these qualities, with a palette of colours which take inspiration from the coloured doors of the historic Spring Hill Baths, on a backdrop of greens and blues representative of the adjacent Victoria Park/Barrambin and Centenary Pool.
