Meanderin’ Meanjin

3 Valentine Street & Milton Road, Toowong QLD
This artwork is a celebration of Brisbane, from the river (affectionately known as the ‘Brown Snake’) to the purple of the jacarandas and the turquoise of South Bank lagoon. The dashes signify the myriad of walking tracks, while the dots represent the people – a tapestry of cultures. We included 6 iconic bridges that symbolise the merging of modern and historic Brisbane. ‘Meanderin’ Meanjin’ represents the charming slow pace of Brisbane and pays homage to the traditional land on which we live.
