Kimberly Engwicht

Cosmic Girl

Wynnum Rd & Stanton Rd, Tingalpa QLD
My artwork is purely made to bring people joy. I want to put a smile on people’s faces as they drive by on their way to and from work/school. I’ve included some positive sayings at the top of the artwork so that people can read it, believe it and then take it on throughout their day.

Sending Out Positive Vibes

Proud Bundjalung and South Sea Islander woman Kimberly Engwicht created the gorgeously spirited ‘Cosmic Girl’ just because she wanted to bring the people who pass by some joy!

Kimberly is a Brisbane-based artist and Creative Director of digital illustration business K-Rae Designs. You may remember her amazing ‘Deadly Icons’ artwork projected onto the William Jolly Bridge a couple of years ago. Kimberly’s traffic signal box in Tingalpa features bright colours and the simple, beautiful messages: ‘You are loved’ and ‘You are enough’. We sure hope it brightens up your day when you’re heading to or from work and school.
