City Siblings

Adelaide St & Creek St, Brisbane City QLD
My work features two little dudes exploring a world of traffic cones. The work is super vibrant, reminiscent of childhood wonder and the ability to find fun in everything. The construction motifs represent the constant innovation and development of our city.

CITY SLICKERS!

City Slickers is a new initiative that enables us to bring colour to boxes that are located too close to the curb to be safely painted. Plus, a new medium and way for creators to get involved with Artforce Brisbane!

This is one of ten digital artworks developed by Queensland College of Art & Design students, printed and wrapped around traffic signal boxes throughout Brisbane city!

‘City Siblings’ by Lucy Ruigrok, captures the feeling of walking through the city with her three older brothers. It features two young men exploring a world of traffic cones, expressing childhood wonder, fun, and the constant development of our city.
