Bright Lights Really Hurt My Eyes

Days Rd & Grange Rd, Grange QLD
Versions of this design I’ve drawn at home before but never with as much colour. There could be conversations of different kinds of spectrums here but at its simplicity it is a super colourful bright light ray scattered with intersecting furthering prisms. The colour combination sequence has no intended meaning or subtext; where the prisms intersect is the same. The idea that e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e is on numerous spectrums fits nicely here; when you speak to someone you should be conscious they are as multilayered as you are. ‘Bright Lights Really Hurt My Eyes’ is part of a line of a lyric in a Regurgitator song, a musical favourite for years in our house. Constant feeling and message we hear in many of their lyrics are justice, equality, respect & love; for your people nearby and for everyone everywhere. They have much joy and light in their music with all underlying messages. These kind of messages many people could be reminded of.
