A Family Tree

Boundary Rd & Chatsworth Rd & Samuel St, Camp Hill QLD
I grew up in this part of Brisbane and, as a member of this community I was lucky enough to paint this specific box from a young age. It gave me so much joy to see the box that I worked on as we drove around for years after and now, many members of my extended family live in this area with their young families. This artwork is designed as a memory for my family as they added their handprints among the leaves of the tree to create a literal ‘family tree’. The finished artwork will also stand out for the local community as a sign of new life and growth.
