The artwork is intended to remind people that life is a gift! Designed to reflect a wrapped gift, with elements of Brisbane/QLD that make living in this beautiful city unique. From nature to city landscape, to food, art and culture – there is something exciting to discover if you just look around you. Coorparoo has many public parks and a beautiful view of the Brisbane CBD and I wanted the artwork to reflect that. Also, I wanted to include food and arts as it is also part of this suburb. My hope is that the message will be to appreciate where we live and to continue to explore this city.
