There’s always a Silver Lining

Sylvan Rd pedestrian crossing & near Kate St, Toowong QLD
Is the glass half empty or half full? The response is considered an indication of a person’s world view, with the half-empty answer indicating a pessimistic outlook and half-full implying a person’s optimism. We think both answers could reveal silver linings, for example “the glass is half empty because I’ve already drunk half of that delicious drink …”. It’s a question worth asking and a conversation worth having. We hope to provoke discussion and perhaps heighten awareness of how to look for silver linings, something our family has managed to do, despite everything that 2020 threw at us.
