Snapshots of Suburban Life

My inspiration for this artwork was based on the concept of capturing snapshots of everyday moments in suburban life. Moments like your first morning coffee, or your pet asking for food that most suburban residents can relate to. These are moments that are often overlooked in the busy-ness of everyday life so I wanted to capture those times to encourage viewers to cherish even the simplest parts of life. To reflect this feeling of simplicity and contentment in my artwork I used a naive, childish art style that also conveys a sense of familiarity.
