Our artwork celebrates a vibrant and forward-looking city. The design features both day and night skyline, showcasing its energy and beauty from sunrise to sunset. We have also incorporated netball and cricket elements. These sports are deeply connected to Australian culture and bring communities together across all ages and backgrounds. While they may not both ultimately feature in the Olympic Games, they represent the spirit of anticipation, teamwork, and enjoyment. We believe that any sport people love and are passionate about is a great sport. Our hope is that this artwork reflects Brisbane’s pride, diversity, and excitement for the future.
