Find the Golden Bin Chickens!

Oxford Street & Opposite Princess Street, Bulimba QLD
This design reimagines Bulimba’s original landscape before urban development transformed it. In the 19th century, the area was home to sheep, chickens, and cows; animals that once defined its character. I’ve brought them back into today’s bustling setting, joined by the iconic bin chicken that now rules our streets. The artwork invites a sense of fun and discovery, encouraging people to pause and look closer. Hidden bin chickens are scattered throughout the scene, turning Bulimba into a playful search that reconnects the community with the area’s past while celebrating its lively present. I hope it also brings a little joy back into people’s lives and sparks memories of childhood wonder.
