tierra & water

Abbotsford Rd & Edmondstone Rd & Mayne Rd, Bowen Hills QLD
This artwork explores the symbiotic relationship between water and soil, reflecting the natural forces that shape Brisbane’s landscape and identity. Inspired by the rhythms of the Brisbane River, the design represents movement, erosion, and renewal – elements that continue to influence how the city grows and how people live within it. Through flowing forms and grounded textures, the piece invites viewers to pause and consider their connection to the environment beneath their feet. It aims to create a moment of reflection within the urban setting, highlighting how nature and city life are deeply intertwined.
