‘Magpie Memories’ expresses the idea that Magpie’s remember our faces and in turn we should treat them with kindness so that they remember us as friendly. These iconic birds live in our backyards, streets, and local parks, and each has their own little personalities. This piece encompasses the themes of human and nature interconnectedness and the need for humans to treat animals and the environment with kindness.

You must be a resident of Brisbane ie. living within the Brisbane City Council area.
You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
