Belmont Farms

Belmont Road & Marwood Road, Belmont QLD
‘Belmont Farms’ is inspired by the agricultural historic background of Belmont Queensland. These lands where once filled with hundreds of Poultry and Dairy farms, providing milk, eggs and meat to Australia. As time when on, Brisbane became more populated and housing development was buying and using the land. This mural highlights the significance and purpose the land once had before urban development. Both Chicken and Dairy Cattle play a huge role in providing food resources to people all over the world. We should respect the work and sacrifices these animals do to provide us with food to survive. This mural is designed to bring these animals back to the area and remind people what purpose the land once had.
