Purple Rain: The Essence of Spring in Brisbane

Coronation Dr (Pedestrian Crossing) & Booth St, Toowong QLD
My aim is to evoke a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the unique character of Brisbane. The Jacarandas, with their transient beauty, remind us of the delicate balance of spring, the short-lived season before hard-hitting summer arrives. Flowering against the Regatta Hotel, I want to highlight the hotel’s heritage with the enchanting beauty of the Jacarandas. The hotel’s cast iron verandahs and classic façade bathed in the magical lilac glow of the Jacaranda blooms. For a few short weeks, history and nature intertwine, defining the essence of Brisbane in spring.
