I am interested in the carving tradition of the Gamilaraay people of north west NSW, my ancestral homelands. I have compared some of our dendroglyph designs with petroglyphs created in neolithic Europe. Particularly fascinating is the site of Gavrinis in France. Known as a site associated with the Divinine Feminine and the similarity of symbols across continents.
